Motion Designer for BBC News’s Visual Journalism department, currently in BBC Gulf Graphics creating daily news graphics and branding using the Adobe Suite and Vizrt (Design & Scripting), but also working on several projects throughout the BBC, such as title sequences and VR specials. My most recent work is “Return to the Moon”, where I contributed to building real-time graphics sequences using Vizrt, modelling bespoke assets in Blender / Cinema 4D, creating custom coded OpenGL shaders, working closely with a team of designers under the supervision of a creative director, and collaborating with the editorial / technical departments to achieve quality storytelling.

In charge of elaborate and complicated graphics projects created at tight broadcast deadlines, such as greenscreen packages, virtual sets, packaged news content and branding using the Adobe Suite and 3D tools such as Blender and Cinema 4D.

Also in charge of designing and implementing real-time interactive graphics such as Transition Logic lower thirds using external data or augmented reality graphics, created using Vizrt, Unreal Engine 4, Unity, HTC Vive and SteamVR technology and bespoke workflow applications written in vb.net.

Creating daily graphics on a tight schedule for a variety of news programmes using the Adobe suite, working with the promos department to create and implement branding concepts, and creating real-time interactive graphics such as lower thirds or augmented reality graphics using Vizrt and VB.net scripting.

Working on various post production roles on music videos and feature film projects, for clients such as Minos EMI, Panik Records and Village Pictures.
